Enumclaw City Television is a division of the Administration Department of the City of Enumclaw, first airing programming in 1997. Currently, ECTV broadcasts on channel 21 on Comcast Cable within City limits. ECTV is truly a one-man operation, who is Jon Funfar, Media Services Manager, who divides time between ECTV, the City’s website, and telecommunications duties. ECTV is government access for the City, so primary programming is City government – City Council meetings, Planning Commission, City-sponsored events, etc. ECTV does also support the Enumclaw School District with taping of School Board Meetings, school performances, and the Superintendent’s Update. ECTV does accept programming from outside governmental sources, such as the State of Washington, King County, and Federal programming, such as “Army Newswatch”.
